Ad terms

A. The packages

These are the packages on the advertising page. The package as shown there on the day your payment confirms is the one you have bought.

• Prices are in US dollars and cover one banner on the front page of this site only.
• The front page has a single banner position. If several banners are running, each page view shows one. The top package is always shown ahead of the others; banners in the same package take turns.
• A day means 24 hours, and the count starts when the banner goes up.

B. Asking and being approved

• The booking form is a request. There is no agreement until we have approved your artwork and destination by email and your payment has confirmed.
• We review the artwork and the page it opens. We can ask for changes or decline, and we do not have to say why.
• We aim to answer within three working days. A start date depends on the position being free.

C. Paying

• Payment is in cryptocurrency, in full, before the banner goes up. After approval we email the wallet address, the network and the exact amount.
• The amount is the dollar price converted on the day we send it and holds for 48 hours. After that we may quote again.
• Network fees are yours. What arrives has to match what we asked for.
• Use only the network named in our email. Funds sent to another address or over another network are lost, and that loss is not ours.
• Payment details come by email only, inside the thread that started with your booking. If someone contacts you on a messaging app claiming to be us and asks for money, it is not us. Please tell us.

D. Your artwork

• 970 by 250 pixels; JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF; 300 KB at most.
• No audio, no flashing, no imitation buttons, no fake system alerts, no countdown pressure.
• One destination per banner. It is tagged as sponsored and opens in a new tab. It must not forward to a different site from the one we approved.
• Every banner is displayed with the words “Paid banner”.
• If your artwork is late, the run begins when it goes up. If it has not reached us 14 days after payment, we may count the booking as used.
• You confirm you have the right to use everything in the artwork: names, logos, photographs, likenesses.

E. What we will and will not carry

• A gambling operator must be licensed for the places its banner is aimed at, and must give us the licence number and the regulator's name if we ask.
• No gambling offer aimed at a place where the operator has no licence, and nothing aimed at people under the legal age.
• A gambling banner must show an age limit and a safer-gambling message.
• No promises of winning, of “risk-free” play or of a return on any coin, token or investment.
• A crypto project must be live, or have a named team and public documents we can check.
• No malware, phishing, fake airdrops, unregistered securities, adult material, or anything unlawful where it will be seen.

F. Refunds and early removal

• If we decline before the banner goes up, you owe nothing, and anything already paid goes back to the wallet it came from, less the network fee.
• You may withdraw before the banner goes up on the same basis.
• Once the banner is up the fee is not refundable, including when you ask us to remove it early.
• If the site is unreachable for more than 24 hours without a break during your run, we add that time to the end. This is the whole remedy for downtime.
• We may remove a banner immediately, without refund, if it or its destination breaks these terms or the law, if a licence ends, or if the destination changes into something we did not approve.

G. What you are buying

• You are buying the position for the number of days in your package. We make no promise about how many people see it, click it, register or spend.
• Click totals come from our own records and are supplied for your information.
• A banner is not coverage. It gives you no influence over the news desks, including over reports that mention you.

H. Who is responsible for what

• The banner, the offer and the destination are your responsibility, and so is their legality wherever the banner is displayed.
• If a regulator, a court or anyone else brings a claim against us because of your banner or offer, you will meet our reasonable costs.
• Our liability for a booking stops at the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for lost profit or other indirect loss.

• We use the details in your booking to handle that booking and for nothing else. See the privacy notice.
• These terms can change. The version published here on the day your payment confirms is the one that governs your booking.
