For writers
Contribute a piece
Most of this site is other people's reporting. Voices is the exception. If you work in gambling or crypto, or follow one of them closely enough to know when the coverage is wrong, we would like to publish you. It is free, and your name goes on it.
What we are after
- News we do not have. A licence decision, a court filing, a change to how a casino pays out, a token that stopped working as promised.
- Proof. Link the filing, the regulator's notice, the transaction, the company statement. A claim without a source will come back to you.
- Your own writing. Not a rewritten press release, not something generated and pasted in, and not a piece that already ran somewhere else.
- Enough length to say it. A report needs 250 words. A notebook entry needs 150. Good pieces usually run 500 to 1,000.
What we turn down
- Bonus lists, promo codes, casino rankings, referral links. If you want to promote a business, that is what the media kit is for.
- Betting systems, tips, price predictions, or anything that promises a win.
- Accusations against a named person or company that you cannot back up.
From draft to published
- Make a free account. The name you give is the name printed on your work.
- Write in the editor. It keeps your draft in your browser while you work.
- Send it. An editor reads it, normally within three working days.
- You see the decision on your page: published, or returned with a note saying what to change.
We may shorten a piece or change its headline. We will not change what you are arguing without asking first.
