Polymarket’s traders lost funds through a website supplier. How safe is the trading screen?

Polymarket’s October 29 breach reached traders through a compromised website supplier. Researchers found code that tried to use logged-in accounts to sell positions and move assets, exposing the trust traders place in the screen they use to manage their money. The retrieved code sought access to the trading client and signer inside an active session. A separate vendor breach in June had already prompted a promise of full refunds.
