A single Powerball ticket sold at a New Jersey supermarket has won an $847 million jackpot, the ninth-largest prize in the lottery’s history. The winning ticket was purchased at a Wegmans Food Market in Montvale, Bergen County, and matched all six numbers in Wednesday night’s (Nov. 4) draw, ending a run of 35 consecutive drawings without a jackpot winner. The numbers were 15, 34, 41, 53, and 56, with a red Powerball of 21. As of Thursday afternoon (Nov. 5), there was no announcement that a winner had come forward.
