Preliminary data from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) shows that Macau’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the third quarter of 2026 stood at MOP$106.1 billion (US$13.1 billion), representing real year-on-year growth of only 0.1%. Overall economic volume recovered to 91.3% of the level recorded in the same period of 2019. DSEC released the relevant data on Friday, noting that Macau was affected by external environmental factors in the third quarter. Gross gaming revenue underwent a short-term adjustment, leading to a 4.8% year-on-year decrease in gaming service exports.
