Bitcoin Breaks Above $84,000 as 24-Hour Gain Reaches 1.47%

Bitcoin (BTC) rose above $84,000 on Oct. 13 after gaining 1.47% over 24 hours, putting the cryptocurrency back at a price level it revisited earlier this month. The move followed another test of $84,000 on Oct. 1. Bitcoin crossed the level for the first time in November 2024, when it set a record high, and moved above $104,000 on May 18, 2025. The latest advance comes after Bitcoin crossed $64,000 on Aug. 17, 2026.
