Blur to Shut Down Website Nov. 12 as Ethereum NFT Trading Slumps

Blur will shut down its public website on Nov. 12, ending access to the user-facing platform as Ethereum NFT trading volume has fallen more than 99% from its 2023 peak. The platform’s Blend NFT lending service will stop matching new loans on the same date. Borrowers must repay outstanding loans by Nov. 12 or allow them to default. Blur plans to provide a separate tool later for users to withdraw Blend assets. The change affects Blur’s website frontend, not its underlying Ethereum marketplace protocol.
