Bybit Brings US Stocks to Crypto Traders in Global Expansion

Bybit has expanded into conventional US equities, allowing eligible cryptocurrency traders to buy stocks and exchange-traded funds through its platform rather than rely exclusively on derivatives or tokenized instruments. The October 12 launch covers more than 1,000 securities, including Apple, Nvidia, Tesla and the Invesco QQQ ETF . Supported stocks can be purchased fractionally, giving investors access to positions that would otherwise require buying an entire share. The more significant development is the structure behind the service. Bybit is connecting its customer interface to regulated brokerage infrastructure, with US broker-dealer Alpaca responsible for executing transactions and holding the underlying securities.
