Cardano Sets New Record With 1.78 Million Transactions in a Single Epoch

Cardano has set a new transaction record after processing 1,780,896 transactions during Epoch 660, according to blockchain explorer Cexplorer.io. The figure surpasses the previous record of 1,566,974 transactions recorded in Epoch 304. Cexplorer reported that the latest epoch also generated ₳337.72K in transaction fees, with each block containing an average of 83.83 transactions. The milestone highlights increased transaction activity on the Cardano mainnet amid recent price action of the ADA token. The new record follows another milestone reported by Cexplorer on October 9, when Cardano surpassed 125 million processed transactions on its mainnet.
