Ethereum Developers Set Oct. 15 Call as Glamsterdam Testing Continues

Ethereum developers will hold an All Core Devs Consensus call at 10 a.m. ET (14:00 UTC) Oct. 15 to coordinate work on the planned Glamsterdam and Hegotá network upgrades. The meeting is a developer coordination session, not an activation of either upgrade on Ethereum’s mainnet. Neither upgrade has a confirmed mainnet launch date. Glamsterdam is currently being tested on devnets and has a target mainnet release in the fourth quarter of 2026. The upgrade is designed to improve processing speed and network capacity while reducing database growth.
