SAT Japan Adds USDT and USDC Payments With Dollar Settlement Through Triple-A

Japanese vehicle exporter SAT Japan has added a stablecoin payment route through Triple-A, targeting the cross-border transfers involved in buying a car from overseas. The October 29 announcement says eligible customers can use USDT and USDC while the exporter receives settlement in US dollars. The arrangement puts the payment processor between the buyer’s digital asset and the seller’s preferred currency. SAT Japan does not need to hold or manage the stablecoins itself, according to the companies. A vehicle purchase involves more than clicking a checkout button.
