Stacks’ STX Rises Roughly 60% as Bitcoin-Staking Design Advances

Stacks’ STX token gained roughly 60% over about four weeks in historical market readings as the network advanced a Bitcoin-staking design that includes institutional participation. One reading put STX at $0.4295 on Oct. 13, up from $0.2658 on Sept. 13. A separate closing reading showed the token at $0.42570, compared with $0.26540 a month earlier. The two datasets use different prices and do not specify time zones. Stacks’ Bitcoin-staking design uses Proof of Transfer. Participants lock Bitcoin (BTC) on Bitcoin’s base layer and pair it with STX on the Stacks network.
