THEO Token Drops 92% After $1.76M in ETH Moves From Base to Ethereum

Autheo’s THEO token fell about 92% in 24 hours after a suspected exploit involving a cross-chain bridge on Base, with roughly $1.76 million in Ether moved to Ethereum. The activity involved minting about 19 million THEO tokens, which were then swapped for Ether. The attacker subsequently bridged the funds from Base to Ethereum, moving the assets across networks. The sharp decline left the token down about 92% over the 24-hour period. Simon Yoon reports on blockchain technology for TokenPost. Send corrections or tips to info@tokenpost.com.
