XRP Hits New Milestone of 13M Total Agentic Payments

The XRP Ledger (XRPL) has recorded more than 13.4 million agentic payments through the x402 protocol a few months after crossing the 1-million mark. The milestone shows how the network is growing its reach in AI-driven commerce, where artificial intelligence (AI) agents make payments for digital services with little or no direct human involvement. J. Ayo Akinyele, Head of Engineering at RippleX, announced the latest figures on X. A few months ago, Akinyele predicted that XRPL would quickly pass 10 million agentic transactions.
