2026-27 Big East Men’s Basketball Summer Vibe Check: Georgetown Hoyas

2025-26 Big East Finish: Tied with Xavier for 10th, but lost the tiebreaker by way of head to head record against the Musketeers. Postseason: The highlight of the entire season has to be Georgetown ending up as the #11 seed (read as: Dead Last) in the conference tournament but knocking off DePaul in the first round and Villanova in the quarterfinals before getting clipped by 16 against UConn in the semifinals. Notable Departures: I usually try to start this section with the guys that the team knew they were going to lose because of the end of their eligibility.
