2026 Week 7 Preview: Oklahoma State Cowboys @ Houston Cougars

TDECU Stadium hasn't hosted a ranked matchup since the 2015 American Conference Championship Game, when No. 17 Houston defeated No. 20 Temple in the stadium's second year of existence. More than a decade later, the No. 20 Cougars welcome No. 18 Oklahoma State for a matchup with potentially significant Big 12 title implications. Both teams enter on a roll. Houston has won three consecutive games by double-digits, capping the stretch with arguably its most complete performance since joining the Big 12 in a dominant victory at Kansas State last Saturday.
