49ers’ Christian McCaffrey returns vs. Falcons after thigh injury scare

The San Francisco 49ers are up 14-9 over the Atlanta Falcons early in the Week 7 matchup on Sunday. However, all eyes are on Christian McCaffrey, as the star running back suffered an apparent injury during the contest. It’s said the 30-year-old ball carrier is questionable to return with a thigh injury, according to Nick Wagoner of ESPN. As long as McCaffrey remains out, the 49ers will rely on Kaelon Black to lead the way in the backfield. “ 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (thigh) is questionable to return, per TV report,” Wagoner said on X.
