SARATOGA SPRINGS — The young Lehi boys golf team, officially known as the Pioneers, became trailblazers on a rainy, cold Tuesday at TalonsCove Golf Club. With three sophomores and three juniors in the lineup, Lehi won the school's first-ever state golf championship, rolling past perennial powerhouses Corner Canyon and Lone Peak on the way to the 2026 title. The Pioneers compiled a 36-hole total of 14-under 562 (lowest four scores count each day) to win by seven shots over runner-up Skyridge (-7) and third-place Lone Peak (-5). Three-time defending champion Corner Canyon tied for eighth.
