Adam Ramsay-Peaty blames having too much MUSCLE for summer swimming flop

ADAM RAMSAY-PEATY’s deep-dive investigation into why he failed to win swimming gold this summer found he was carrying too much MUSCLE. Britain’s greatest swimmer is determined to qualify for Team GB at the LA 2028 Olympics – these would be his fourth and final Olympics appearance. The 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games and European Swimming Championships in Paris – essentially held back-to-back over July and August – were a key milestone in his plans. Yet he returned home from Scotland with just one silver (4×100 metres medley) and two bronzes (50 metres and 100 metres breaststroke events).
