Alcohol allowed at seats for Scotland's World Cup play-off

Spectators will be able to consume alcohol at their seats when Scotland host the Czech Republic in the second leg of their Women's World Cup play-off in Paisley on Tuesday. It will be the first time football supporters in Scotland have been able to drink in sight of the pitch at a professional game since 1981. The Scottish FA say the initiative at the home of St Mirren is "another significant step forward" and the aim is to "explore how a managed approach to alcohol sales can contribute to a positive and safe matchday experience".
