Anthony Gordon targets football’s “Top Bracket” after Barcelona move, inspired by Harry Kane’s rise

Gordon signed for the Spanish champions from Newcastle United in the summer and has had an impressive start in LaLiga. The 25-year-old has two goals and four assists in nine league appearances and has formed part of a freescoring attack under Hansi Flick. He pointed to the example of Harry Kane, who was last month named winner of the Ballon d'Or. Gordon believes Kane's move to Bayern Munich has helped his profile, with the England captain now competing regularly on the biggest stage for major trophies.
