Arsenal equal all-time club record with victory over Hull

Arsenal have matched their best ever start to a Premier League season following Saturday’s 1-0 win over Hull. The Gunners provisionally stretched their lead at the top of the table to six points with a hard-fought victory over the Tigers at the Emirates Stadium. Mikel Arteta’s side were made to wait until the 72nd minute for their winner courtesy of Martin Odegaard . The Arsenal skipper was on hand to slot home from close range after Noni Madueke’s effort was parried into his path by Hull goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis.
