Arsenal hit by new double injury scare as Mikel Arteta faces selection dilemma

Arsenal were without both Piero Hincapie and Martin Zubimendi during an open training session on Monday morning. Hincapie came on for the final 10 minutes of Saturday’s 2-1 win over Leeds in the Premier League. He then took part in a warm-down on the pitch after the match at Emirates Stadium but had to be carried off after appearing to suffer an ankle injury . Hincapie has been assessed since then and while no confirmation of the severity of the injury has yet been provided, he was absent on Monday.
