Aston Villa star hints that £100m stadium renovation has had negative impact on form

Matty Cash has suggested that redevelopment of the North Stand at Villa Park has affected Aston Villa’s form this season. Cash and Villa have lost to Arsenal and Nottingham Forest in their three-match winless home run in the Premier League . They led Brentford 2-1 in the 77th minute on Saturday but conceded moments later and settled for a 2-2 draw. Fans inside Villa Park and those watching from afar have noticed that there is a stand full of supporters behind one of the goals.
