Atletico Madrid 2-0 Manchester United: Winless skid continues with frustrating loss in Europe

Manchester United’s UEFA Champions League campaign took a hit on Tuesday with a loss in Spain to Atletico Madrid. The match got off to a fast start, but not for the Reds. Atletico were able to build quickly in the opening minute, taking over possession deep and narrowly avoiding a turnover to Carlos Baleba on their way into a counter. The break led to a shot by Barrios, which took a deflection from Ayden Heaven before trickling over the line. Just like that, 1-0.
