Ballon d'Or winner Kane notches two assists as Bayern beat Mainz

Harry Kane played a part in both goals as Bayern Munich returned to winning ways in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over Mainz . Joshua Kimmich gave the visitors a deserved lead with his first goal of the campaign and Mainz thought they had equalised but Lee Jae-Sung's header was ruled out for offside. Ballon d'Or winner Kane claimed his second assist of the afternoon as Lennart Karl doubled Bayern's lead, with Phillip Tietz' goal for the hosts coming too late.
