Bears made NFL history with win over Seahawks in Week 8

The Chicago Bears came into this season with the chance to make history, facing the AFC Champions, the New England Patriots, on Thursday Night Football, followed by the Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. Chicago took care of business with a 30-24 win against the Patriots in Week 7. However, before their Week 8 showdown with the Seahawks, the Bears traded two first round picks for All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons. His presence made all the difference for Chicago against Seattle.
