“Best Golf of My Career”: Chacarra Aims to Hold Off “Idol” McIlroy in Dubai

Eugenio Chacarra is not just leading the Race to Dubai; he is running away with it. The Spaniard holds a 669.27-point lead over Patrick Reed and a near-1,000-point advantage over Rory McIlroy heading into the Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship. Sky Sports reported these specific point totals, showing just how wide the gap has become. Chacarra won three times this season, including the DP World India Championship last month, which pushed him clear of his rivals.
