‘Bet he’s not talking about his own position’ – Jamie Carragher blasts Lisandro Martinez for Man Utd transfer rant

JAMIE CARRAGHER has blasted “out of order” Lisandro Martinez for turning on the Manchester United board. And he doubts that Martinez’s complaints about the quality of United’s squad refer to central defence, where he has struggled in recent weeks. ‘The Butcher’ was beaten to a stoppage-time header by Dominic Solanke when 10-man Tottenham snatched a draw at Old Trafford at the weekend. Martinez did not cover himself in glory in Tuesday night’s 2-0 defeat at Atletico Madrid , either, as United came off comfortably second-best.
