Big 12 admits that it incorrectly gave No. 8 BYU a first-quarter touchdown in win over Arizona State
The conference said Saturday night that it should not have given BYU a touchdown in the first quarter of the No. 8 Cougars' 27-20 win over Arizona State on Saturday. RB Sione Moa was credited with a fumble recovery touchdown after QB Bear Bachmeier lost the ball on a QB sneak attempt near the goal line. However, replay officials should have put the ball back to the spot of the fumble for BYU to run a play on third down. The touchdown was Moa's first of two on the day.
