Black Ferns v France: Grace Brooker called into New Zealand squad three years after last test

A lot has changed since Grace Brooker last pulled on a Black Ferns jersey. First selected in 2019, Brooker has made five appearances in the black jersey – the most recent of which was in July 2023. It was her first test appearance since she ruptured a patella tendon playing for the national side in late 2021, but after losing her Black Ferns contract in 2024, the midfielder assessed her options.
