Borussia Dortmund player ratings vs Elversberg: Felix Nmecha double keeps BVB level with Bayern

Two long-range strikes from Felix Nmecha earned Borussia Dortmund a hard-fought 2-1 win over promoted Elversberg, keeping Niko Kovac's side level on points with Bayern Munich and unbeaten in the Bundesliga this season. Without the injured Serhou Guirassy, Dortmund were matched for long spells of a goalless first half by a bold Elversberg side, and lost Carney Chukwuemeka to injury after 34 minutes. Nmecha broke through ten minutes after the restart with a low drive from the edge of the box, then lashed in a second from 25 yards on 71 minutes.
