Braves Hire Dana Brown For Scouting Advisor Role

The Braves are reuniting with Dana Brown as a senior advisor in their amateur scouting department, as per USA Today’s Bob Nightengale . It’s a homecoming for Brown, who worked as Atlanta’s VP of scouting from 2019-22 before he was hired as the Astros’ general manager. Brown and Braves president of baseball operations Alex Anthopoulos have a long working relationship dating back to their days in Montreal, when Anthopoulos was Brown’s assistant when Brown was hired as the Expos’ director of amateur scouting in 2002.
