Brewers rumors: William Contreras is no trade candidate after World Series MVP, but 1 key star is

The Milwaukee Brewers are not expected to move World Series MVP William Contreras despite his club option, but another important member of their championship roster could be available. According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan, Milwaukee will at least listen to trade offers for closer Trevor Megill. That possibility makes sense for a team looking to balance its desire to repeat as World Series champions with the need to continue building for the future. Contreras remains a central piece of the Brewers’ roster after his MVP performance , and moving him would create a major hole behind the plate.
