Caleb Williams explains why he backed down and covered up banned logo vs Seahawks after $35k fine

It’s been a busy few weeks for Caleb Williams, who learned the hard way that defying the NFL can be costly . The Chicago Bears quarterback was fined $11,941 for wearing Caddix cleats during the Week 6 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons . The league labeled it as an uniform violation as Caddix are not an official partner of the NFL, despite the fact Williams was not fined for the entire pre-season, Week 1, Week 2, while wearing the shoes.
