Cam Skattebo slapped with NFL fine after controversial violation – but Giants star refuses to back down

Cam Skattebo has had an eventful few weeks. The New York Giants running back was benched for the Week 6 clash against the New Orleans Saints before re-entering the fray in Week 7 against the Houston Texans . The second-year star proceeded to let his rushing do the talking against Houston, recording 124 yards and a touchdown from just 17 carries in the 27-21 overtime win. However, Skatt’s impressive performance was overshadowed by a helmet-related violation. With the Giants leading 7-3 in the first quarter, Skattebo lowered his head and initiated forcible contact with Texans safety MJ Stewart.
