Taylor Ruck wrapped up the second stop of the three-meet World Aquatics Swimming World Cup series with a podium-topping performance for Canada on Saturday. The 26-year-old from Kelowna, B.C., won gold in the women's 200-metre backstroke with a time of two minutes 2.41 seconds. Anna Peplowski of the United States was second in 2:02.71, while Japan's Waka Kobori was third in 2:06.99.
