Canadiens Preview: Beck Season Debut, Fowler Starts Versus Sabres

The Montreal Canadiens (2-2-1) host the Buffalo Sabres (3-3-0) on Tuesday night at the Bell Centre, with puck drop set for 6:30 p.m. ET. The Habs will look to build on the momentum from Saturday night’s hard-fought 1-0 win over the Detroit Red Wings, a game that featured three disallowed goals and required a perfect performance from goaltender Jacob Fowler to secure the shutout. The victory was especially important given Montreal’s underwhelming 1-2-1 start to the season, which had put the team at risk of falling by the wayside far too early in the campaign.
