Cardiff City hammer Watford as striker Moylan scores twice in first-half blitz

Cardiff City produced a stunning first-half display to thrash Watford 5-1 at Cardiff City Stadium, with Jack Moylan scoring twice as Brian Barry-Murphy's side climbed away from the Championship relegation zone. The Bluebirds were ruthless against a beleaguered Watford outfit, scoring four times before the break to put the contest beyond doubt and deliver a timely response to Saturday's defeat at Blackburn Rovers. Moylan, deployed as a makeshift centre-forward in the absence of a recognised striker, led the charge with two goals in the opening 35 minutes.
