Cardinals Maintaining High Price For OLB Josh Sweat Amid Trade Interest

The Cardinals are receiving trade interest in outside linebacker Josh Sweat , per ESPN’s Adam Schefter , with the Cowboys remaining among the top projected destinations. Sweat, 29, has been the subject of trade rumors for months amid what looks to be a multi-year rebuild for the Cardinals. Chatter first picked up when the Cardinals fired head coach Jonathan Gannon, the former Eagles defensive coordinator who helped develop Sweat in Philadelphia and bring him to Arizona in 2024. The ninth-year edge rusher immediately put up career-highs of 12.0 sacks and four forced fumbles.
