Cardinals Restructure Jacoby Brissett’s Contract To Facilitate Ravens Trade

On Wednesday, the Ravens agreed to acquire Jacoby Brissett from the Cardinals . The veteran quarterback will not make his Baltimore debut tonight, with finances having represented one of the reasons for a delay in the deal being finalized. Baltimore is near the bottom of the league in terms of available cap space at this point in the season. Taking on the remainder of Brissett’s contract would have required other cost-shedding moves as a result. Instead, Arizona has agreed to restructure the 33-year-old’s deal to help facilitate this trade.
