Cardinals signing young tight end to practice squad amid plethora of injuries

The Arizona Cardinals have multiple injuries on the roster after defeating the Dallas Cowboys 33-30 in Week 8. Due to the injuries piling up, the team had a spot open on the practice squad. Arizona reportedly used that open space to sign a young tight end who flashed potential in the preseason. Reports indicate that Rivaldo Fairweather is officially signing to the Cardinals’ practice squad, according to Matt Zenits of CBS Sports. Fairweather led the league in receptions during the preseason before ultimately being released by Arizona. He now rejoins the organization going into Week 9.
