Ceferin and Montagliani follow up with Infantino on call for one-off £10m for MAs

October 11 – In a letter to FIFA president Gianni Infantino and copied to FIFA Council members ahead of a FIFA Council meeting this Thursday (October 15), UEFA and Concacaf confederation presidents Alexander Ceferin and Victor Montagliani say that a one-time distribution of $10 million to each national federation from FIFA’s $6 billion reserves “is conservative and more than manageable”. This is the second time that they have written to Infantino urging him to support the release of funds to its member associations.
