Celtics HC Joe Mazzulla gives props to Jayson Tatum for taking great shots vs. Hornets

Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics were firing on all cylinders against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night, and head coach Joe Mazzulla had nothing but praise for his star forward’s shot selection . Tatum poured in 34 points in Boston’s 119-80 blowout win at Spectrum Center, and Mazzulla liked everything he saw. “I thought every shot he took was a great shot,” Mazzulla said, via Mack Baltes . It is hard to argue with that assessment. Tatum was efficient from start to finish, shooting 9-of-16 from the field, 5-of-8 from deep and a perfect 11-of-11 from the free-throw line.
