‘Cheating is cheating’ – Simon Jordan hits back at Jamie Carragher over response to ‘hypocrite’ claim

Simon Jordan warned Jamie Carragher he is ‘not beyond reproach’ after the Liverpool icon didn’t take kindly to being labelled a ‘hypocrite’. Jordan branded Carragher as such after a clip of the latter stating he’d cheat to win went viral. In the video, which stemmed from a podcast appearance on the Diary of a CEO in 2022, Carragher said: “I’d rather cheat and win than not win.” Carragher’s resurfaced comments generated a social storm given how strong he has been on Manchester City after they were found guilty of breaching the Premier League’s financial rules.
