Conor McGregor aims dig at Canelo Alvarez as he eyes more UFC history in final fight

Conor McGregor has hit out at Canelo Alvarez’s boxing return ahead of his final UFC fight. Canelo snatched the WBC super middleweight title from Christian Mbilli this past weekend after more than a year out, while McGregor hopes to contest the last fight of his UFC contract next summer. McGregor made a nightmare return to competition against Max Holloway at UFC 329 in July, injuring himself in the opening exchange and losing after only 69 seconds. The Irishman is currently isolating in Los Angeles to recover from ACL surgery.
