Dana White reacts to Renato Moicano’s controversial stand-up at UFC Halloween — ‘Are you trying to win the fight?’

Dana White isn’t rushing to condemn Dan Miragliotta . The veteran referee created a firestorm at UFC Halloween last weekend (Sat., Oct. 31, 2026) when he stood Renato Moicano and Tom Nolan up from the ground during their Lightweight main event inside Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Moicano had Nolan’s back with a body triangle locked in during the second round and was searching for a rear-naked choke. Despite Moicano holding one of the most dominant positions in mixed martial arts (MMA), Miragliotta stopped the action and ordered both fighters back to their feet.
