Darts star Mensur Suljovic apologises for ‘inappropriate’ comment about women and could face punishment

MENSUR SULJOVIC has apologised for his antics on stage and ‘sexist’ post-game quotes during the Swiss Darts Trophy in Basel. But the Austrian thrower could face punishment for his behaviour over the weekend after the PDC referred his actions to the Darts Regulation Authority. As Ross Smith was twice throwing for the win in their third-round encounter on Sunday, slow-throwing Suljovic threw up his arms in an attempt to whip up the crowd behind him.
