Depleted Hurricanes lose Hall to upper-body injury in win over Capitals

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Carolina Hurricanes forward Taylor Hall suffered an upper-body injury on Tuesday night, and did not return to his team's 4-2 win over the Washington Capitals . Carolina coach Rod Brind'Amour did not have an official update on Hall in his postgame media availability, other than telling reporters but "that doesn't look good." The Hurricanes are already without captain Jordan Staal , the playoff MVP in their Stanley Cup championship run last season, who will miss one to two months with a torn calf muscle, the team announced before Tuesday's win.
