Draymond Green’s Stats Look Ugly, But His Importance To The Warriors Remains Unchanged

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is a future Hall of Famer, but you wouldn't know it by just looking at his stats. Green's raw numbers have never shown his true value to the Warriors, but they have been particularly bad in this 2026-27 season. Green is averaging 3.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game for the Warriors, while shooting 38.1% from the field and 22.2% from beyond the arc. Calling these ugly would be an understatement. Green has scored 21 points on 21 field goal attempts while committing 22 turnovers and 18 fouls.
